Great time at the Hotel Ski Lodge

We had a great time at Hotel Ski Lodge in late March 2023. There were 12 of us ranging from 21 to 90. The Hotel was warm and comfortable. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Size varied. Some were great, others rather tight. All had balconies. Location was good for us. Slightly out from the centre so quieter and with good views. It was a five minute walk to the ski bus stop then two stops to the lifts. There was a comfortable seating area by the bar which was good for relaxing. Drinks were pricey as usual but not extortionate. Food was a highlight. Quality from the set menu ranged from good to excellent and there was plenty of it. We had a vegan and a vegetarian in our party. We had told the Hotel in advance and they were very well catered for at dinner. It would have been nice to have more vegan options at breakfast but there was certainly enough. We had three family staying elsewhere in Val d'Isere and the Hotel was happy to include them in dinner. The staff were professional and efficient. Any queries were immediately dealt with satisfactorily. We would definitely return to the Hotel Ski Lodge.

We had an excellent week staying in this hotel. Rooms were comfy, staff were attentive and the food was outstanding. It was great value for your money and I would highly recommend staying here.

We travelled as 2 couples staying half board. Rooms varied in size (the first room was great, pictures below, the second room was quite a lot smaller) but booth rooms were well equipped and cosy. The beds were very comfy. The lounge area was comfy and relaxed and the restaurant food was fantastic. All staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome. The hotel has a bus stop outside, we didn’t use it as the walk to the gondola was 7 minutes. Overall a very good stay, and I would recommend this hotel

All staff made us feel welcome, comfortable and all very friendly. Dinner at the hotel was 5 star, enjoyable and outstanding meals every night. The room was clean and comfortable. Free shuttle bus allows you to go into town but this is only a short walk. I would highly recommend hotel ski lodge.
