COVID

Following the announcement of the French government, the country is once again in a national lockdown until December 1st. This lockdown implies a postponement of the opening of our establishments, initially scheduled from November 21st.

- If you have made a reservation with our booking center or on our website www.village-montana.com, our customers advisers will contact you in the next days
- If you have a booking for the Grande Première or First Tracks events, Val Thorens Reservation or Val d'Isère Reservation will contact you directly



For the safely of everyone, guests must wear a mask in enclosed spaces, lounges, receptions, dining areas, bars, ski rooms, corridors or elevators. The teams who welcome you will also be masked to protect you and themselves. But even masked they keep smiling!



The safety of our customers and our teams is our main concern, which is why we have implemented a strengthening of our hygiene protocol. To find out about all of these measures, consult our sanitary charter.
Village Montana is also committed to respecting the guidelines of the “Hotel and Restaurant” health protocol.

Swimming pools
To ensure your safety, we inform you that access to our swimming pools is subject to recommendations from the health authorities. Indeed, the limitation of the number of people will be introduced in order to respect social distancing between each holidaymaker. To do this, you will be invited to reserve a time slot per day, per personn. Once your time slot is over, you can book a new one (provided that the maximum number of people in the pool has not been reached). Between each slot the space will be disinfected.

Good to know: The usual dosage of water chemistry, especially with chlorine, guarantees the destruction of the virus. So you can bathe serenely!

Spa
All of our practitioners have been trained in sanitary procedures and will be equipped with visors and / or masks depending on the treatment performed. The health authorities have imposed the closure of certain activities: the jacuzzi, sauna and hammam are closed until further notice.



Even in the mountains, it is necessary to continue to respect barrier gestures. Wearing a mask is mandatory when queuing at the ski lifts and throughout transport on the chairlift or gondola. Regular disinfection of surfaces and hydroalcoholic gel pump available. On the ski slopes, wearing a mask is not compulsory, so you can ski in complete freedom.



Your stay was cancelled due to the Covid-19 epidemic and you received your credit note by email in the form of a PDF voucher with a credit number. Note that its amount corresponds to the sums paid for your stay on the day of cancellation. To use your credit: please contact our customers advisers on +33 (0) 4 26 78 26 78.

- If the amount of your credit is greater than your new stay, you will receive a second credit for the amount of the difference valid for the next vacation.
- If the amount of your credit is lower than the new stay chosen, you just need to fill in the difference with the payment method of your choice from the list offered by our customers advisers.



A refund or a credit note on the whole amount paid for your booking will be proposed in the following cases (subject to verification and proof):
- you or a person of your stay is tested positive to the Covid-19 by a PCR test
- suspect case prevents travelling (justified by a certificate of isolation issued by a doctor)
- closure of the ski resort or Village Montana
- closure of the French borders or those of your country of departure
- quarantine or confinement of your area and/or country
- health care or medical workers, subject to requisition
- flight cancellation

These conditions apply to any cancellation of your stay for the causes described above and occurring until the day before your arrival at our establishments. If one of these conditions happens during your stay, the non-consumed nights will be reimbursed.



BOOKING

To cancel your reservation, simply notify us by email: contact@village-montana.com. The date of receipt will determine the date of cancellation. If your stay is not paid 30 days before your arrival, it will automatically be considered as cancelled. If your arrival is delayed or your departure early than booked, the entire stay will be due.

Cancellation conditions for chalets and residences *
- More than 30 days before the planned arrival date: refund of the amounts already paid
- 29 to 15 days before the planned arrival date: invoicing of 50 % of the total price of the holiday including any extra services
- 14 to 7 days before the planned arrival date: invoicing of 75 % of the total price of the holiday including any extra services
- Less than 7 days before the planned arrival date: invoicing of 100 % of the total price of the holiday including any extra services

Non-presentation on arrival, interruption of the holiday, early return: invoicing of 100 % of the total price of the holiday including any extra services.

Cancellation conditions for hotels *
- If you cancel more than 15 days from your arrival date: the deposit will be refunded
- If you cancel 14 days or less from your arrival date: the deposit will not be refunded

PAYMENT METHODS





PET

Some establishments accept animals in rentals (except 1st and 2nd category dogs), for a daily fee payable on booking: 25 € / night.

See the list of establishments in which they are authorized:
- Hôtel Village Montana
- Hôtel Les Suites du Montana

In all cases, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. They are prohibited around swimming pools, in restaurants & bars. The vaccination record for animals must be up to date.



DIVERS QUESTIONS



For chalets and residences :
Arrivals are from 5 p.m. and departures before 10 a.m.

For hotels :
Arrivals are from 4 p.m. and departures before 11 a.m



The ski resorts of Tignes, Val Thorens or Val d´Isère are all pedestrian or semi-pedestrian, street parking is prohibited. All our establishments have covered car parks (to be added when booking, price: 80 € / week).

From train stations and airports, our partner Taxi 73 will be happy to provide your return transfer to our establishments.

Example for a family of 4 from Geneva airport to Val Thorens:
One-way fare: 375€
Round trip price: 750€



For chalets and residences :
A cleaning kit as well as the end-of-stay cleaning (excluding the kitchen area and dishes) is included in the price of your stay.

For hotels :
Daily cleaning with change of sheets and towels every 2 days are included.



For chalets and residences :
Yes ! In the price of your stay is included the rental of the apartment, the supply of sheets and towels, beds made on arrival, the change of towels in the middle of the stay for any stay of at least 7 nights * , cleaning kit, tea towels *, satellite TV and direct line telephone (excluding communications), wifi, water, electricity and heating, end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen area) , 1 bag of wood deposited in the apartments with fireplace.

For hotels :
Naturally, as well as a bathrobe and pair of slippers.



The Taxe de Sejour (a local tourism tax) is not included in our tariffs. Amounts vary according to location and residence category, and the charge is payable in advance at the time of booking.
